Dusky Delight

Well-appointed, spotless, large home with great Mountain views. Positive: Very nice, clean, large and lovely! We had everything and more that would ever be needed. Lovely, kind hosts! Great location and views of mountains. It was an easy walk everywhere and on a quiet street. Negative: The only issue was how cold it was inside the house. There were floor heaters in each bedroom but they didn’t keep the rooms warm. Very drafty in the bedrooms and in the kitchen as well. The living room had a powerful heater so we were only warm in there.

Cozy house for family with serene view and convenient location Positive: Very large yet homy house, inside it was overall modern with all the needed facilities. The living room space, despite older style furniture, did not have any of the old dusty or moldy feeling but was instead quite cozy for a family. The views to the back was beautiful - lush green field going all the way to the lake with snow-capped mountains in the background. The linens were clean and fresh. The location was very good, 3 minutes drive to town center - easy walk as well. Hosts were fairly responsive and had an easy check-in and check-out process. Negative: To stay warm, we needed to turn on the portable heaters and the AC in the living room. However, that made the air quite dry on the sky and for our noses and mouths. Would be great if there as a humidifier.

The accommodation was wonderful it had everything we needed & more. Very clean, comfortable & warm Negative: Having to leave such a lovely house. It suited our family of five so well. There was nothing that we didn't not like obout the property.

It was a lovely place to stay and be comfortable but it was lacking in a few finishing touches. Positive: The living space and views were very good. We were warm, the heat pump heated the house. Two of the bedrooms were very good. Negative: The third bedroom was not suitable for 2 adults - too small and beds too small. It said there was a third toilet and we didn’t find the third one. No body wash in the bathroom downstairs, no coffee or milk and only one dishwashing pod. No handee towels or tissues which would be expected. There was constant drip from the down pipe in the small third bedroom which needed fixed.

Positive: Location is good, unit is spacious, huge windows provide spectacular views. Negative: Many of the windows & skylights need cleaning (especially cobwebs).
