lovely spot to stay for a few days

Good place to stay
Positive: Great view of the mountains & lake from the rear lounge. Very quiet. Easy walk (flat terrain) to the lake and town centre (15-20 mins). Very spacious, reasonably clean and provided most facilities for a short stay.
Negative: The decor was dated. Mainly clean but also a few cobwebs. Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfortable and quite pricey for the state of the property (especially compared to other places we experienced in NZ). Missing a few thoughtful "creature comforts" we experienced with other facilities with a similar price point.

Never come back again to this property!
Positive: Location is convenient
Negative: Very dirty. Washing machine is put in the garage where is full of dust and smell of gasoline.
The price Booking.com actually charged is NZD300 higher than the booking price!
